Your generous contribution will support the ongoing work of LATIN-19 and our member/partner organizations.
Current Funding Priorities
LATIN-19 Testing and Vaccination Days – Dedicated to reaching marginalized Spanish-speaking individuals.
Community Health Worker and Navigation Program – This workforce will serve as a bridge between the community and Duke Health, deliver health promotion programs, and provide support to individuals affected by COVID-19, including facilitating support groups.
Center of Excellence for Latinx Health in NC — First in the south and one of the first truly community engaged organizations in the country. While Latino centers exist within the US, they have more singular missions such as medical care or education. Our vision is to take LATIN-19 from a crisis response entity to a fully functioning center, with a focus on five pillars:
Health
Education
People and community
Research
Policy
